FAQ

1.      What are your rates?

Standard rate is $1.40 per pound with a minimum order size (per pick-up) of 30 pounds.  Orders under 30 pounds will be charged at the 30 pound minimum. We commit to a 48 hour turnaround. A faster turnaround is possible but would need to be quoted separately.

2.      What detergents do you use?

Our standard detergent is Nellie’s.  A suitable substitute may be necessary from time to time but it will be fragrance free.

3.      Do you offer delivery?

Yes!  We offer pick-up and delivery with a $5 per visit charge.  During the onboarding process we will ask you to pick the days of the week (weekdays only) for recurring services. Our delivery area is limited so please check our website for further details.

4.      How quickly can you turn my order around?

Our standard service turnaround is 48 hours (if collected before 10am).  Faster turnaround is possible but is quoted separately.

5.      Can I get a pick-up/delivery on the weekend?

We know this would be great to have from time to time but it’s not part of our standard service.  If there’s an emergency and we can support the request then we’ll do our best.

6.      What happens if an item is damaged during cleaning?

All items are inspected before washing to note any noticeable damage.  If an item was damaged during the cleaning process then we will provide compensation up to 10x the cost to clean that item.

7.      What if I need to change my delivery schedule?

That’s not a problem but please give us a week’s notice.

8.      What types of items does this service cover?

The commercial services are focused on sheets, towels, service uniforms, team uniforms, linens (no ironing), and other medical clinic items.  Please do not send items that are precious, ‘dry clean only’, ‘hand wash only’, or are delicates that should not be washed.  We are not responsible to ensure that proper items have been sent in the order.

9.      Do you press or iron?

No. This is not offered at this time.

10.   What is the best way to package my items for pick-up?

For the first pick-up you will have to provide in your own bags.  Our Commercial Customers receive branded laundry duffel bags at an initial cost of $15/bag.  Enough are provided to cover the anticipated usage.  Damaged bags have a replacement cost of $20/bag.

11.   I have some pretty gnarly items, can they be cleaned?

If you have some laundry that is particularly gnarly, we will do our best to get it cleaned.  This will involve some industrial cleaning products that are supposed to get asphalt tar out.  If that doesn’t work then we would suggest retiring the item.

12.   What if some of my items are stained?

Please separate stained items and place in a labeled bag. We will do our best to remove the stains.
